PM Kisan Scheme: PM Kisan stands for Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, which translates to Prime Minister’s Farmers’ Respect Fund. It is a central government scheme in India that provides minimum income support to eligible farmers.
Under this scheme, the government transfers an amount of Rs 6,000 per year in three instalments of Rs 2000 each to the bank accounts of eligible farmers.

Kisan-eMitra provides real-time support and information to farmers. They can get answers to their questions about the PM-Kisan scheme, including eligibility, application process, the status of their application or instalment payments, and complaint resolution.
Kisan-eMitra aims to empower farmers through technological intervention. Among several answers, Kisan-eMitra addressed questions like What are the benefits of linking an Aadhaar with a bank account? Is e-KYC mandatory for PM Kisan registration?, How can I self-register through the PM Kisan mobile app? and Is there any fee for PM Kisan Registration?
How To Use the PM Kisan Chatbot (Kisan-eMitra)?
The AI Chatbot, accessible through the PM KISAN mobile app or the website, is integrated with Bhashini, which offers multilingual support, catering to the linguistic and regional diversity of the PM KISAN beneficiaries.
The chatbot is available in multiple Indian languages, including Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Marathi, Tamil, Odia, Malayalam, Gujarati, Punjabi and English. This allows farmers to access information and resolve issues in their preferred language.
