Released in 2016, Train To Busan stands out as one of the top Korean zombie thrillers. For fans of this genre, All Of Us Are Dead offers a gripping TV series experience. Set in the fictional city of Hyosan, it follows high school students battling to survive a zombie apocalypse. Adapted from the webtoon by Joo Dong-geun, originally published between 2009 and 2011, the series delivers edge-of-your-seat horror with its coming-of-age storyline.

The series was filmed at Sunghee Girls’ High School in Andong, South Korea. The series was released on Netflix on January 28, 2022. Upon release, the series was watched over 474.26 million hours in its first 30 days on the service.

The series stars Park Ji-hu, Yoon Chan-young, Cho Yi-hyun, Lomon, Yoo In-soo, Lee Yoo-mi, Kim Byung-chul, Lee Kyu-hyung and Jeon Bae-soo. Set in the South Korean city of Hyosan, a science teacher conducts a gruesome experiment that results in the local high school being overrun by zombies. As the outbreak spreads throughout the city and the beleaguered authorities attempt to contain it, a group of trapped students must band together and use their wits to survive and get to safety.

BH Entertainment, the agency that represents Park Ji-hu, the star of the series, further fueled the excitement with an Instagram post. In this post, they shared Park’s “2024 lineup” and revealed All of Us Are Dead Season 2. This subtle reveal has sparked speculation among fans about a possible release date and set the stage for the return of the captivating series. Although it was initially rumoured that filming for Season 2 would begin in the first quarter of 2024, there are no concrete signs of production yet.

According to insider information, filming could extend into the “first half of 2024.” If production is completed by June 2024 and the post-production schedule matches that of Season 1, fans could see the series return in early 2025. However, the agency’s Instagram post also hints at a tantalizing late 2024 release.
