Actress, Dushara Vijayan, decides to quit acting when she turns 35, splitting a bomb, and leaving her fans sad and dejected.
The actress, now 26, is considered one of the most liked actresses in the South. She became a renowned face right after her debut film, Sarpatta Parambarai, where she portrayed a feisty woman from the 1970s Madras. She was selected for the project after the director, Pa. Ranjith had seen a photograph of her on Twitter and called her for a 20-minute audition.
The actress is awaiting the release of her film Raayan, where she portrayed the role of Dhanush’s younger sister. The film is going to be released on July 26. The actress also claimed that the film was a personal win for her. Vijayan while speaking about her role in Rayaan in Dhanush’s directional style, suddenly splits the bomb in her interview that she is going to quit acting at the age of 35.
Nevertheless, the actress is also well known for her role in Bodhai Yeri Budhi Maari. In an interview with the Chennai Times, Vijayan expressed her experience working with the team and claims that she learned a lot of things starting from the technicians to the cast and enjoyed with everyone in the film.
She has also received great appreciation from the audience because of her role in many movies, including Sarpatta Parambarai, where she played the role of Mariyamma, Natchathiram Nagargiradhu and so on. Following this she will also be seen in Dhanush’s Rayaan.
During her promotion of her recent movie Rayaan, actress Dushara Vijayan, claimed that, ‘I will quit cinema when I turn 35 and after that I will go to see places in the world’. She also claimed, ‘I am not saying I will never return to acting but beyond 35, I will entirely focus on making sure that there are no countries I haven’t travelled to” and signed off with a smile.
