RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav on Thursday claimed that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and ally BJP are “not getting along well” and hinted at “something major” happening after June 4, which marks the results day of the 2024 Lok Sabha election.

“Ever since I predicted that chacha (uncle) will take a big decision after Lok Sabha polls, he has not been going out to campaign”, noted Yadav, referring to a prediction he had made earlier.

Yadav, who lost the Deputy CM’s post following Kumar’s sudden return to the NDA in January this year, made these remarks during a media interaction.

“I have also learnt that it is the Governor who is holding meetings with officials and issuing instructions. On the election front, the BJP and the JD(U) are concentrating on their respective states, with no synergy”, the RJD leader alleged.

Interestingly, since Kumar exited the ‘Mahagathbandhan’ led by the RJD, Yadav has refrained from directly criticising the JD(U) president.

During the elections, Yadav has consistently sought to fish on the NDA’s internal discord.

After Kumar’s health issues prevented him from visiting Varanasi where PM Modi was filing his nomination papers, Yadav claimed that the JD(U) leader wished for BJP’s defeat, asserting “his blessings are with me” despite the alliance ending.

The young RJD leader, campaigning in a wheelchair due to an injured spine, proudly declared, “By the time campaign for the final phase comes to a close, I would have addressed 251 election meetings.”

“INDIA bloc is heading for a spectacular victory. The alliance may win 300 plus seats. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be defeated by his three beloveds (teen Mehbooba) – poverty, price rise and unemployment,” he stated.

Responding to PM Modi’s planned meditation session in Kanyakumari, Yadav said, “might be going to market himself, to get himself photographed. Be that as it may, he must not take the media along for self-publicity. He may meditate to his heart’s content but must not take along hindrances (baadha).”
