The upcoming horror Malayalam thriller film, Chithini is slated to release in the theatres worldwide on August 2. It stars Mokksha, Vinay Forrt and Amith Chakkalackal as the main leads. It is directed by East Coast Vijayan. The film has been creating a buzz in the film industry with its teasers and trailers. To add more spice to the existing hype, the makers have released a video song of the film. It is titled Shyla Nandini. The song was shot in Kerala Kalamandalam, opening the gates of this premier institution for filmmaking after years. The song features classical dance on the tunes of soothing music. The video song has gone viral now.
The latest viral song, Shyla Nandini, features Amith Chakkalackal singing a classical song, while Mokksha is dancing on the stage. It is said that more than 100 junior artists performed along with the actress for the song. The dance and the facial expressions of the actress were next to perfection in the song. The music is composed by Ranjin Raj, while the lyrics were penned by Santhosh Varma.
Shyla Nandini was sung by Sathya Prakash. The song was the culmination of the music produced from the classic musical instruments like Tabla, Sitar, Shehnai, Mridangam and Ghatam. Vinay Forrt was also amazed by the beautiful dance of Mokksha as seen in the video song of the film. The song looks visually appealing as it is lit with hundreds of lamps and candles.
Earlier, the trailer for the film hinted at an intriguing horror drama set in a forest region. The film stars Amith Chakkalackal in the role of a police officer who stays in the enigmatic bungalow, while Vinay Forrt appears to be a youngster who is in search of the mystery behind Chithini’s death or disappearance.
Last year, on December 23, East Coast Communications released the title look poster for East Coast Vijayan’s film Chithini. The poster was unveiled by actor Suresh Gopi through his official Facebook page. It went viral on social media in no time.
