Does celebrity transformation surprise you too? For most of us, the physical transformation of celebrities still remains a mystery. One day we find them looking a certain way and just within a few days, we are greeted with a photo or clip of them looking a lot healthier, rugged, toned and chiselled. Well, most of them have expensive, customised diets, rigorous training by world-class trainers and tonnes of hard work going behind the before and after looks. However, while it seems very far-fetched for us and nearly impossible for us to transform that quickly, actor R Madhavan has surely given us some hope with his latest transformation.
Taking to X (formally Twitter), the popular actor has reacted to a clip from one of his interviews. The clip shared by an X user is from a popular talk show where he is describing his weight loss journey to the interviewer. In the clip, we can see the host of the show and Madhavan sitting across a dining filled with delicious food. Further into the video, we also get a glimpse of the before and after photos he shared.

He showed a photo of himself from the sets of his film, Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, which is a biopic on Indian rocket scientist Nambi Narayanan. Madhavan shared that while directing the film, he had gained a lot of weight. He then shows another photo in which he looks a lot healthier and fitter.
Talking about his unbelievable transformation, the actor shares that he could do it with the help of intermittent fasting. He also claimed that he was able to shed his extra kilos within three weeks.
“I only ate food that was good for my body. No exercise, No running, No surgery. No medication. Nothing,” Madhavan tells the interviewer while discussing his weight loss journey.
In reaction to this clip, the actor added some more details regarding how he did intermittent fasting. “Intermittent fasting, heavy chewing of food 45-60 times (drink your food and chew your water)..last meal at 6.45 pm ( only cooked food -nothing raw AT ALL post 3 pm)..early morning long walks and early night deep sleep (no screen time 90 min before bed)..plenty of fluids..lots of green vegetables and food that is easily metabolised by your body and healthy,” he said.
