The Israeli Air Force is preparing to redeploy gun-based air defence systems to counter Hezbollah’s drones from Lebanon. The Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) previously used the Vulcan, which was retired in 2006. The ground-based systems would potentially defend specific points, such as military bases or sensitive infrastructure. Such gun-based systems are not effective at covering wide areas, the Times of Israel reported. Hezbollah has fired more than 300 explosive-laden drones at Israel amid the ongoing clashes, only half of which were intercepted. Watch the video to know all the latest updates on Israel war.
