South Korean artists HyunA and Yong Junhyung are reportedly getting married this year. The couple confirmed their relationship in January and have openly expressed their affection and support for each other since then. They solidified their commitment on Instagram with a shared photo accompanied by a love-filled emoji. According to local media outlet YTN, HyunA and Yong Junhyung plan to hold their wedding ceremony on October 11, 2024, in Seoul, in an intimate setting. Sources close to the couple indicate they feel confident in their relationship and are ready to take this next step together.
“They have been friends for a long time, and they understand the hardships of life in the entertainment industry. They have strong trust in and empathy for each other. After they became a couple, I think they decided to get married due to their confidence in each other’s love,” stated a Koreaboo report quoting a source.

Meanwhile, Yong Junhyung’s agency, BLACK MADE, initially responded to the reports, stating that they were looking into the matter. “This is the first time we are hearing of this. We will release a statement after verifying the facts,” they conveyed. On the other hand, the agency representing HyunA, AT AREA, has not yet issued a response regarding the news.

The two were former labelmates under Cube Entertainment. On January 18, 2024, HyunA and Junhyung shared a picture of themselves holding hands on their respective Instagram handles and confirmed their relationship. On Jo Hyun-ah’s Thursday Night, Hyuna shared how dating has had a positive impact on her work. “I am thankful that I met a person who gives me courage in my work,” she said.
Prior to this, the K-pop star had parted ways with her longtime partner Dawn in November 2022.
While Junhyung made his debut with Cube Entertainment in the six-member group BEAST, HyunA, after departing from JYP Entertainment, also joined the agency with 4MINUTE.
Recently, the singer made a comeback to the music scene after remaining on a two-year hiatus. She released her latest mini-album, Attitude, which came out on May 2. Yong Junhyung also released his EP in March this year, titled Beautiful Dystopia.
