Need to shop for groceries or make an online purchase? No problem! The card also works for ATM withdrawals and e-commerce transactions.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has partnered with Airtel Payments Bank to introduce digital payment solutions to commuters for easy travel.

Now, you can use a single card for all Delhi Metro lines, including the Airport Express. All thanks to National Common Mobility Card (NCMC). Airtel Payments Bank will handle transactions for NCMC cards, regardless of which bank issued them.

These NCMC cards, available at metro stations, will not only simplify metro travel but also work with other public transport systems across India that use the open loop system. Plus, you can use the card for ATM withdrawals and online shopping!

“This partnership is a game-changer for our commuters,” said Vikas Kumar, Managing Director of DMRC. “It means a smoother, hassle-free journey for everyone in the National Capital Region,” as quoted by The Financial Express.

The goal is “One Nation, One Card,” as Anubrata Biswas, MD and CEO of Airtel Payments Bank, describes it. This move is a step towards that goal, providing more services to a broader user base.
