During the grand wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, the Ambani family’s opulent jewelry collection was on full display, dazzling guests and setting the internet abuzz. Nita Ambani and Isha Ambani showcased stunning emeralds, while Radhika Merchant and Shloka Mehta sparkled in diamonds. However, it was Anant Ambani’s sarpech that truly stole the spotlight.
The exquisite piece was crafted by the renowned jewelry brand Kantilal Chhotalal, known for designing rare pieces for the Ambani family, including Nita Ambani’s yellow diamond necklace and Isha’s giant pink diamond. According to the jewellers, Nita Ambani meticulously designed the sarpech using solitaires from her personal collection gathered over the years.
The sarpech, adorned with heirloom stones, featured an unmatched collection of pigeon blood Burmese rubies and baguette-cut diamonds. The rubies added a touch of Mughal grandeur, while the baguette-cut diamonds brought a bold Art Deco flair. Anant wore the sarpech during his baraat and later repurposed it as a brooch for his wedding ceremony.
Additionally, the jewellers revealed that the briolettes were enhanced by a striking peacock motif clasp, a thoughtful design paying tribute to Anant’s passion for wildlife conservation. Complementing the sarpech, Anant wore diamond kurta buttons also designed by Kantilal Chhotalal, encircled with rubies, rosecuts, and seven strands of perfectly graded diamond beads.
The wedding, held in Mumbai on July 12, was followed by Shubh Aashirwad and reception ceremonies on July 13 and 14. The celebrations were attended by Bollywood stars, international celebrities, industry tycoons, global leaders, and politicians, making it a truly grand affair.
