Afghanistan scripted history by becoming the fourth team to qualify in the semi-finals of T20 World Cup 2024, after beating Bangladesh by 8 runs (DLS method), in a rain-disrupted match at Arnos Vale Stadium in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines on Tuesday.

With Naveen-ul-Haq and skipper Rashid Khan's power-packed four-fors, Afghanistan stormed into their maiden World Cup semi-finals, defeating Bangladesh and in turn knocking out Australia. (AP)
